Mission College Preparatory Catholic High School is a diocesan secondary school serving 315 students and is located in San Luis Obispo, CA. MCP Music teachers use a variety of techniques in the classroom and are comfortable integrating technology into the curriculum--the school expects candidates to have an ability to use differentiated instruction. MCP seeks an experienced classroom teacher who has a background in curricular and pedagogical innovation. Responsibilities for this position include collaboration and full participation in a Music department to ensure excellent scope and sequence, as well as participation in a professional, Catholic school-wide learning community. The ideal candidate will have: a degree or advanced degree in Music, a teaching credential in Music, experience teaching music, and qualifications to teach students at various levels and on various instruments.
