Student Services Coordinator III – Off Site Education A Full-Time, Classified Represented Position Review Date: May 23, 2022 CLA21-415 Job Link: https://bit.ly/3LcfRac The Santa Clarita Community College District/College of the Canyons is seeking a full-time Student Services Coordinator III – Off Site Education in the Student Outreach, Engagement, and Onboarding Office. "BIG PICTURE" RESPONSIBILITY: Under the direction of the Director, Student Outreach, Engagement, and Onboarding Services, and in collaboration with the Associate Dean, Admissions, Records and Veteran Services, the Student Services Coordinator performs a wide variety of specialized operational support duties in the day-to-day operations for the Student Outreach, Engagement, and Onboarding Services Office and off-site location programs.
Duties include but are not limited to general registration/enrollment related assistance, correspondence, record keeping, problem solving, coordination with external partners’ records, and specific student service related projects. Interfaces with staff, faculty, high school personnel, and high school district personnel. Will work shifts at off-site locations such as high schools. Performs other related duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Minimum three (3) years of full-time experience working in community colleges, universities, high schools, community agencies, or similar work involving programs or activities to assist the public. Education: Education equivalent to an Associate’s degree (60 semester units) is required. Two years direct experience in addition to that identified above may be substituted for each year (30 units) of college.
