Requirements / Qualifications

EdJoin Classified Application. SCOE Administrative Assistant II or higher level SCOE Certificate (Administrative Assistant III, IV or Executive Assistant Certificate). Those that meet the position requirements and do not attach SCOE Administrative Assistant II certificate or higher may be invited to attend test on May 12, 2022.

BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of an assigned Director II or a Classified Director, perform a variety of secretarial support functions of a complex nature in a department of a County Office-wide program or function; assist the Director with various budget planning, preparation and monitoring activities. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and three years of increasingly responsible secretarial experience. College-level course work in business office management, secretarial science or related field is desirable. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid California driver's license may be required. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS: The following documents are not required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment: Department of Justice Fingerprint clearance Tuberculosis Skin Test clearance Pre-Employment Physical/Drug Screen clearance Valid CA Driver License
