Requirements / Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of combined experience in J2EE java and/or NET including designing for, development of, and implementing systems relying upon Internet protocols. Demonstrable progress in job assignments for this period is expected. Desirable experience includes: two (2) or more years of experience in software development for large scale, enterprise database and data warehouse applications; two (2) or more years of experience in client-server and/or server based applications; two (2) or more years working in local area and wide area network (LAN/WAN) environments. Education: Graduation from an accredited two-year college or university with a major in computer science, information technologies, or a related field required. Work experience resulting in an equivalent knowledge base may be substituted for the major requirement on a year-for-year basis. Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met. Must present verification of completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training or obtain verification within six (6) weeks of hire and annually thereafter, as required by the California Child Abuse Neglect Reporting Act.
