DEFINITION Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Personnel Services or the designee, to perform, plan, organize, coordinate and participate in a variety of highly complex, analytical and specialized work in the risk services program and to relieve the department head of administrative detail; and to do related work as required. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS This is a single position class that organizes, performs, monitors, coordinates, plans, and participates in the full range of daily departmental and risk services for the district. This position is assigned to the district’s Personnel Department and is responsible for a variety of complex and technical duties, involving both certificated and classified employees of the District. Employees in this position receive limited supervision within the framework of their responsibilities, which include, but are not limited to the knowledge and application of appropriate laws, regulations, and policies.
Requirements / Qualifications
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE Three years of increasingly responsible clerical experience or any combination of training and/or experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities, Education equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AA Degree and three years of increasingly responsible clerical experience, experience in risk administration, including some experience working in a school district or personnel office. Must be able to type at a corrected speed of 40 wpm.
