Job Summary
Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services and the Division Director/President of Teachers College of San Joaquin, the Support Supervisor is responsible for all phases of supervision of candidates, and for covering all Student Learning Outcomes identified within the course. The supervisor works one-on-one with the candidate to evaluate and support growth as she/he learns to manage all responsibilities required of a teacher (or administrator) of record. Support Supervisors are required to attend program trainings and meetings to stay apprised of TCSJ policies and procedures.

Possess a valid California Teaching Credential. Submitting an application helps the Teachers College of San Joaquin create a pool of candidates who are eager to work with novice teachers. Before hiring, the program coordinator determines a need based on number of interns in the program, location, credentials, etc. When ready, the program coordinator will contact applicants who meet the need.
