Job Summary

Job Summary

Plan, organize, monitor, and oversee the Special Education Department. Work in conjunction and interactively with General Education to develop and integrate a full spectrum of Special Education services. Maintain compliance issues with State and Federal laws and regulations. Supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel.

• California Administrative Credential - required • Master’s degree - preferred. • Three years successful administrative experience - preferred • Minimum 5 years Special Education teaching or as a School Psychologist - preferred • California Teaching Credential or California Pupil Personnel Services Credential - required • Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations as it pertains to Special Education
