JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS - BS degree (in Math, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computer Education related field is a big plus) - Computer Science teaching experience especially in K-12 setting - Proficiency in C++, Python, or Java - Can communicate well with colleagues, parents, and students - Can work well in a team - Experience in writing problems, creating exams - Proficiency in Discrete Math and problem solving is a plus - Proficiency in English (for international applicants) Camp Dates: All camps will be online and in a day camp format. Instructor may choose any camp(s) that works for him/her. Computer Science Camps (15 weekdays): - Camp 1: June 6 – 24 - Camp 2: June 27 – July 15 - Camp 3: July 18 – August 5 Seasonal (2022 Summer Camp - 3-week camps, weekdays only, 8hr/day): $220-$400 per day* (*) Salary may vary depending on background qualifications and experience. Alphastar follows USCIS guidelines. The person must be legally eligible to work in the USA to receive a stipend.
