Job Summary

The job of Budget Analyst is done for the purpose/s of providing comprehensive budget modeling and projections; analyzing existing accounting procedures; and advising program managers of status of accounts and assisting in budget preparation. Open and Competitive: 40 hours/week Basic & Skills Exams: Week of May 2nd (by appointment) Oral Exam: Monday, May 9, 2022 (virtual) Final Interview: Tentative - Thursday, May 12, 2022 (in-person) * Health & Welfare Package: A variety of medical, dental, and vision plans are available. The District provides $6,500 per year to go towards the cost of insurance. *Employee Assistance Program: A program that provides confidential support for employees and is 100% covered by the District. * Retirement: CalPERS pension; additional retirement plans (403b and 457) are available to interested employees. * Vacation Leave: 10 paid vacation days per year (available to use after probationary period). * Sick Leave: 12 paid sick days per year. * Holidays: 16 paid holidays per year. * Longevity: Incentive provided to personnel with continuous service in the Castro Valley Unified School District starting at ten (10) years.
