QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess a valid California Administrative Services Credential; Master's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in nursing, education or a related field; Three years of experience in one or more areas of assigned responsibility. Knowledge of: Principles and methods of program management and evaluation; Principles, practices, and techniques of providing health services; Principles and methods of home and hospital instruction and curriculum development; Principles and techniques of school nursing; Principles and techniques of budget development and administration; Applicable federal. state and local laws, regulations and procedures; Principles and practices of supervision, training, and personnel management. Ability to: Plans, coordinates, and supervises the Health Services, Regular Education Home and Hospital Instruction, HIV Prevention Education, LEA Medi-Cal, and Medi-Cal Administrative Activities Programs of a school district; Prepares and administers a program budget; Develops and improves a health services program; Supervises and trains assigned staff; Prepares clear, complete, and concise reports and proposals; Analyzes situations carefully and adopts effective courses of action; Interprets and applies administrative and departmental policies, laws, and regulations; Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing; Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
