Requirements / Qualifications
• Valid California Credential authorizing service to Visually Impaired students. Please submit the "Detailed Credential Version". The Detailed Credential Version will include name, document number, issuance/expiration dates, authorization and renewal codes. If currently enrolled in a Teacher Credentialing program, submit a university program status letter indicating your estimated completion date. • Copy of all official transcripts with degrees posted (Copy of all official undergraduate and graduate, if applicable, transcripts with Baccalaureate degree posted - no online printouts are acceptable) • All Exam Results: Basic Skills Requirement (i.e. CBEST), CSET or equivalent, etc. • Letter of Introduction (Addressed to Benjamin Roberts, Ed.D., Administrative Director, Human Resources) • Letter(s) of Recommendation [Three (3) current letters - MUST be signed (no electronic signatures) and dated within the last three (3) years] • Resume *If you do not possess a California English Learner Authorization, your application may still be considered. However, as part of your employment in the District, you will be required to obtain an English Learner Authorization on your credential by February first of your second year of employment. While in the process of obtaining the English Learner Authorization, you must hold an emergency English Learner Authorization.
