With one preschool, four elementary schools, one middle school, one comprehensive high school, one continuation high school, and one independent study school, the district is one of the largest employers in the city of Banning. In February 2021, Banning Unified School District opened a first-of-its-kind Performing Arts Center at Banning High School. In addition, the 27,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility includes seating for over 500 with built-in, high-tech equipment to enhance opportunities for students to engage in advanced Career Technical Education (CTE) programs using the latest technologies.
