  • General Summary:
    • Under the direction of the Clinical Director, the Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for providing speech and language services to students as part of their special education program.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Assess students referred for speech and language services.
    • Provide treatment for students who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).  
    • Develop and implement an Individual Education Program (I.E.P.) for each student who qualifies for speech and language services as part of his/her special education program.
    • Participate as a member of an I.E.P. team for students receiving speech and language services

Requirements / Qualifications

  • California Speech Language Pathology License (RPE/CFY accepted)
  • ASHA CCC’s preferred.
  • SLPA Certification (For SLPA position)
