Requirements / Qualifications

- Possess (or be in the process of obtaining) a valid and appropriate California Driver's License. Must demonstrate Highly Qualified status using the following education requirements: - High School Diploma or equivalent AND (a) Two years of higher education study (48 semester units or 72 quarter units), OR (b) Possess an Associate's or higher degree, OR (c) Successful completion of a Fontana Unified School District-approved Paraprofessional Certificate and/or Paraprofessional Assessment Exam. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION: - Experience working with individuals with special needs, such as: learning disabilities, physical disabilities, emotional disabilities and behavioral disorders. - Experience working in a Resource Specialist Program (RSP) or Special Day (SDC) Class. - Experience working with orthopedically impaired equipment - chairs, standers, lifts, switches, etc. Proof of certificates, education, etc. will be required upon recommendation for employment.
