This job is posted as a PROMOTION and OUTSIDE. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Training and Experience: • Bachelors Degree (please attach transcripts to application) • Coursework in career/college planning, or a related field • Or an equivalent combination of training and experience Knowledge of: • Tests and measurement procedures • Records establishment and maintenance • Career opportunities and requirements • Existing educational programs • College admissions forms, applications, and financial aid resources/requirements Skill in: • Maintaining student records and files • Researching career opportunities and related information • Operating a computer terminal and related software • Communicating clearly and concisely, orally and in writing • Providing counseling and guidance to students and other individuals • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with others • Operating audio-visual equipment Ability to: • Work independently • Shift work hours to attend evening/weekend meeting and/or to do presentations.
