Job Summary

Mission College Preparatory Catholic High School is a diocesan secondary school located in San Luis Obispo, CA and serves 315 students. Founded in 1926, the school enjoys thriving programs and a highly regarded academic reputation, resulting from a qualified and experienced faculty, a supportive parent community, and motivated students–all of whom work in partnership within our culture of care and accountability. MCP's educators are aligned to a common purpose and mission: to illuminate, form, and ignite the God-given potential in each student. We educate the whole person—mind, body, and spirt—and ours is a community where every student is ‘known’ by the faculty and staff. MCP educators value and participate in the co-curricular life of the school and support its mission by modeling an engaged and lively faith. We are partnership-minded in our collaborations with colleagues and in our communications with parents. MCP seeks a math teacher who is focused on growth and creativity in the areas of teaching and learning. MCP math teachers use a variety of techniques in the classroom. The school expects candidates to have an ability to use differentiated instruction and who have a background in curricular and pedagogical innovation.
