Immunization Requirement
(SB 792) requires preschool teachers to be immunized against influenza, pertussis, and measles. And to receive an influenza vaccination between August 1 and December 1 of each year.

Requirements / Qualifications

Child Development Permit (Teacher level or higher) issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (A multiple subject credential is acceptable as long as your bachelor's degree is in Child Development.)

  • Certificate Copy (Child Development Teacher Permit or Multiple Subject Credential with transcripts showing Bachelor's Degree in Child Development)
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 letters required)
