Job Summary
Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources serves as the District's chief human resources officer. The Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources provides overall leadership and has administrative responsibility for the coordination, organization and direction of a comprehensive personnel management program for the District by directing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of human resources operational policies, regulations and guidelines. The Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources directs, and administers the District employer/employee relations process and serves both the Board of Education and Superintendent.
Requirements / Qualifications
Possession of a valid California Administrative Services Credential authorizing service as a K-12 Administrator. Equivalent to completion of a Master of Arts or higher degree from an accredited college or university in educational administration, curriculum and instruction, or other closely related areas. A Doctoral degree in education or a related field is desirable. A valid Class C California driver license (by first day of service); and insurability by the District's liability insurance carrier. Computer skills in Microsoft Office and Google platform.
