The Upward Bound School (TUBS) is a certified Non Public School that partners with local school districts in order to offer support their students are out site. TUBS is currently expanding for the for the upcoming school year by bringing on Independent Contractors to fulfill an RN with a School Nurse Services Credential position. RN with a School Nurse Services Credential Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to: -Will consist of administering the hearing and vision tests in person. -Gather background information of health student from birth to present -Collect detailed information about current prescriptions, allergies and major health concerns. -Write a detailed summary of the assessment findings in order to report for initial and triennial IEPs. -Maintain thorough, accurate records and documents for each session -Provide input in a concise and timely manner -Having excellent organizational skills -Submit hours serviced for each student the same day -Communicate with case manager(s) frequently -Administer assessment near the client's homes such as a public location (ie a park or library) as needed Required Qualifications: 1. Current California School Nurse Services Credential 2. BA higher 3. Current TB test within the past 3 weeks 4. Clear background check / livescan with the DOJ and FBI with our organization 5. Reliable transportation 6. California Driver's License
