Summary Organizes, coordinates, and performs clerical, secretarial, and logistics support duties intake and dispatch of maintenance and transportation services, compilation and archiving of specialized records and reports for facility use, and scheduling of regularly scheduled transportation, building, and grounds maintenance, energy management, and custodial services. Distinguishing Career Features The MOT Administrative Secretary for Maintenance, Operations, and Transportation coordinates and provides a variety of support to general services daily operations. This position is similar in scope to School Administrative Secretary in that it not only provides specialized administrative support to an administrator or director, it also serves as a working team leader accountable for organizing and optimizing workflow. Advancement is possible based on need and would require compliance with the qualifications of the position. Education and Experience The position typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus four years of progressive experience in clerical and financial record keeping services. Additional higher education in business office professions may substitute for some experience.
