Behavior Interventionist/RBT/Tutor/Therapist The ABRITE Organization is seeking full-time and part-time Behavior Interventionists/Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to provide intensive in-home and/or school-based behavioral intervention with children 1 to 18 years of age in Santa Cruz County. Who We Are: The ABRITE Organization is dedicated to improving the lives of children with autism and other developmental related delays. We provide intervention services based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and our services are provided throughout northern and southern California. Details of the position: The position of the interventionist entails delivering intensive 1:1 behavioral instruction to the children in our program in their natural environment (home). Instruction is structured and extensive data collection occurs on all learning targets. The desired applicant should be available anywhere between 8am - 7pm on the days they are available, as this is the timeframe that sessions tend to occur. Preferred availability is 8am-5pm or 10am-7pm. After training, all behavior interventionists who meet performance criteria can sit for the RBT exam (with reimbursement for 1 test fee). If the exam is passed within 90 days of employment, employees will be eligible for a promotion. What We Seek: Interested in learning about ABA Energetic person who enjoys working with children. Reliable, responsible individual who enjoys working with a team of professionals Interested in a career path in education, psychology, or teaching Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, your own car and valid driver's license. Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 pounds.
