Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Business Development and Public Relations, the Marketing and Recruitment Advisor is responsible for developing and implementing public relations, marketing, and social marketing strategies and materials for ROP programs and to recruit students for BVROP programs; and to perform related work as required.

Requirements / Qualifications

Reason for leaving must be included. *Letter of Introduction (Must be in reference to position applying for.) *Current Resume *Three (3) professional letters of recommendation, at least two must be from past or current Supervisors. (Must be signed, dated within the past year, and on letterhead.) *** Please note recommend letters from co-workers, family or friends will not meet the requirements for professional recommendation letters*** *Copy of high school diploma (or transcripts if available) EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college/university in Public Relations, Marketing or related field. Three (3) years of experience in public relations, marketing, advertising or communications in an educational institution, public agency or non-profit organization. Experience in private sector will also be considered. DESIRABLE: Masters Degree or higher in marketing, public relations, communications or closely related field. Experience in working in an ROP JPA, adult school, school district, county office, or community college. Valid California Class C Driver’s License required and ability to maintain insurability status under Baldy View ROP vehicle insurance policy.
