Job Summary
Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) is seeking detail oriented individuals with strong customer service skills to apply for the Senior Systems Specialist, District Support position. The Senior Systems Specialist, District Support researches, diagnoses, and assesses human resources information, payroll, and/or retirement systems features, functions or reports, runs tests, provides specialized application assistance, training and support to county-wide local education agency clients based on knowledge of assigned system features and client needs, and provides work direction and guidance to Systems Specialists and clerical staff.
Requirements / Qualifications
Required Education and Experience Education: Graduation from high school or equivalent is required. Experience: Three years of automated business systems experience that include one year of human resources information, payroll, and/or retirement systems processing experience entering, updating, or monitoring data and resolving related issues using human resources information, payroll, and/or retirement systems (e.g. LACOE's Human Resources System (HRS)) Additional Requirements: College coursework in accounting, business or personnel administration is desirable. Experience in a public school or county office is desirable. A valid California driver's license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to provide transportation between job sites may be required. Remote, work-from-home, or hybrid work days may be available. To ensure the health and safety of its staff, LACOE will require all employees to provide evidence of full vaccination against COVID-19.
