Completion of Master's Degree. Valid California Administrative Services Credential, or Certificate of Eligibility for Administrative Services Credential. Five (5) years of increasingly responsible teaching/counseling and administrative experience in education.

The Vista Unified School District is seeking an instructional leader to serve as an Elementary School Assistant Principal who must possess a knowledge of sound instructional practices designed to ensure all students' learning. The candidate should possess exceptional communication skills, and should demonstrate a working knowledge of the challenges as well as direction of education in the twenty-first century. Can effectively communicate with students, parents and staff in order to create a caring environment; articulate and implement the vision for the school.
