Job Summary
Perform skilled activities in the maintenance and repair of SLOCOE facilities, utilities and equipment including tasks in carpentry, electrical work, HVAC, construction, plumbing and painting.
Requirements / Qualifications
Required: -High school diploma or equivalent. -Three years journey-level experience in the maintenance trades. -A valid California driver’s license. Desired: -Successful completion of post secondary training related to construction, building maintenance or related subject matter. -Successful completion of an applicable recognized trade union apprentice program.

Grade 33: $4,072-$5,806 per month ($23.49-$33.50 per hour). Range represents steps 1-13. New hires typically start at step 1 unless they possess five years of similar experience. Maximum step at hire is step 3.
Length of Work Year
12 months per year, 8 hours per day, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm with a ½ hour unpaid lunch break.
