The Dinuba Unified School District teacher, under the direct supervision of the Site Principal plans and supervises work of assigned classified or student personnel. An elementary teacher creates a flexible elementary grade program and a classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with pupils; to motivate pupils to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for upper elementary grade education, in accordance to each pupil's ability; to establish productive and positive relationships with parents and with other staff members.
Requirements / Qualifications
1. Possess valid Multiple Subject, General, Standard Elementary or other credential authorizing service at the elementary level. 2. Appropriate documentation authorizing instruction to English language learners/CLAD 3. Two to three years of successful elementary and/or preschool classroom experience is preferred. 4. ONE of the following: • At least 24 units in early childhood education, or childhood development, or both. • Professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool age children comparable to the 24 units of education described in number 1. • A child development teacher permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC). *The above bullet points must be completed by August 1, 2023
