Job Summary

As a Summer Camp Instructor, you will play a critical role in the success of our students and our program. Your ability to coach students through the design process - creating, testing and iterating will inspire students and build their confidence. You will work with co-innovators to create a community of trust, excitement, and fun! In addition, you will be validating, prototyping, documenting and innovating on current programs. From building super suits to launching watermelons from catapults, this job is a unique opportunity for current teachers, teachers in training, makers and individuals who want to inspire and create a lifetime of memories for our children.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Must have prior experience working with school-age children K-8
  • Prior experience working at children’s camps is a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and experience managing a classroom
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, ENERGETIC and flexible
  • Able to creatively solve problems
  • Able to communicate both verbally and through written documentation
  • Knowledge of and ability to implement classroom management strategies
  • Set-up materials and sanitize classrooms daily
  • Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain before Summer Camp starts
