New Los Angeles Elementary Charter School (New LA) is seeking a high-energy, well-organized Behavior Interventionist who has proven success working with Special Education populations in the primary grades and is seeking a position in a small school environment.
Requirements / Qualifications
Possess Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in social work, psychology, education or a related field; ? Have experience in a school setting and enjoy working with elementary school students; ? Experience working with autism and other developmental disabilities/special needs; ? A basic knowledge of behavioral based interventions; ? Be committed to the mission and values of New LA and able to articulate commitment to the mission; ? Demonstrate commitment to social justice; ? Be a flexible team player; ? Have a positive outlook, enjoy collaborating with colleagues and appreciate different points of view; ? Knowledge of Welligent a plus; ? Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
