Requirements / Qualifications
PLEASE NOTE: Effective January 1, 2013, all new classified managers will pay their own PERS. All of the following documents are required for this position: A completed EDJOIN classified management application. Letter of Introduction. Three (3) current letters of reference signed and dated within the last three years. NO ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES, ALL LETTERS MUST BE SIGNED Current Resume. Proof of education (transcripts or diploma). PLEASE NOTE: Minimum Qualifications Knowledge of: Student information system operation, CALPADS, SQL database administration and SQL programming, systems administration of Windows Server Environment, systems administration and configuration in a networked environment, systems performance and monitoring, database administration, web development. Ability to: Manage student data in a student information system, program and administer an SQL database, work effectively in a dynamic environment characterized by multiple priorities, communicate effectively in both written and oral form with people of various levels of technical sophistication, work as a member of a multidisciplinary team in an education environment. Education/Experience: High school diploma; Bachelor of Science degree preferred. Five (5) years managing a student information system.
