Requirements / Qualifications

Under the direction of the Manager of Information Systems, candidate will provide direction over the assignment of technical support in the maintenance of district technology; provide basic technical support and assistance in the acquisition, use, and maintenance of administrative and educational technology; maintain appropriate records of requests for technical support and assistance and the disposition of those requests; provide the communication link between district technology users and the district Information Systems. The candidate reports to the Manager of Information Systems and consults with technology users and providers at all levels in the district. Candidate must have knowledge of organization, rules, regulations and programs related to school/district offices, as well as familiarity with school office terminology, practices, and procedures. Correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation and vocabulary, as well as good oral and written communication skills are essential. Good interpersonal communication, problem-solving and customer service skills are essential. Education and Experience: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and experience with various forms of technology and computer systems. Candidate must be proficient using MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Google Docs and email applications. This position requires a typing speed of at least 55 WPM.
