The Fenton Academies are located in Sun Valley and serve students in kindergarten through sixth grade. We operate under the umbrella of Fenton Charter Public Schools, one of the oldest and most successful Charter Management Organizations within Los Angeles. All staff members are provided 7 full days of professional development, as well as weekly trainings/staff meetings. The Fenton Academies run two effective focus schools; Fenton Charter Leadership Academy, which specializes in leadership development and enjoys partnerships with Yale, as well as local community organizations. Fenton STEM Academy specializes in STEM learning with a focus on robotics, NGSS, and engineering. Recent partnerships with NASA/JPL and SpaceX have provided excellent opportunities for learning. We are looking for exceptional candidates with a Clear Elementary Teaching Credential (if preliminary, describe specific plans for completion of Clear Credential requirements). We will require evidence of passage of CBEST and CSET or an equivalent test. Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university is required.
