Requirements / Qualifications
Must hold a valid California Education Specialist Moderate/Severe Credential with an English Learner Authorization issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. The District offers a hiring bonus of $5,000 to each certificated full-time SDC-SH Teacher hired who holds a preliminary or better Education Specialist Moderate/Severe Credential and English Learner Authorization. Bonus will be pro-rated for employees working less than full time and those hired after the start of the work year.
Interested applicants must submit the following to be considered: • Completed Ed-Join application • Letter of Introduction • Current resume • Copy of credential or letter of Intern Eligibility • Copies of transcripts showing degree(s) • 2 to 3 recent letters of recommendation

The District will contribute towards health benefits on a prorated basis (based on employee's work year and hours assigned). The benefit package includes options for medical, dental and vision. Medical plan options include Kaiser, Western Health Advantage and Sutter Health Plus.
$9,360 per year for Employee-only medical benefit selection.
$11,400 per year for Employee+1 or Family medical benefit selection.
