The Santa Barbara County Education Office provides services and leadership to 20 public school districts and 10 charter schools. SBCEO offers programs and services in support of nearly 70,000 children throughout Santa Barbara County - from Santa Barbara to Santa Ynez, Lompoc, Orcutt, and Santa Maria.
Requirements / Qualifications
Must hold a credential/permit or qualify for a Child Development Permit (based on 12 units of course work in Early Childhood Education).
Fingerprint verification of eligibility for employment, Tuberculosis clearance, and Immunizations verifying Pertussis (Tdap) and Measles (MMR) clearance will be required of selected applicant at his/her expense.

On Call, As-Needed, Substitute Teachers for our Early Care and Education program in Santa Ynez Valley, Santa Maria, Lompoc areas. Assist in valuable child care, early learning, school readiness, and health support to the children from birth to 12 years.
Receive a $300 on-boarding stipend when cleared to start.
