Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Support the mission, vision, and core values of Twin Lakes Christian School. Ensure that the classroom work environment is Christian-based, nurturing, wholesome, and loving. Plan a program of study that as much as possible meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students, challenging them to do their best work. Employ a variety of instructional aids, methods, and materials that will provide for creative teaching to reach the whole child. Employ higher level thinking strategies and problem solving techniques appropriate for challenging and building skills in students. Assess student learning regularly and analyze student results. Manage student behavior to ensure every student is fully engaged. Respond in a timely manner to parent requests for help or information. Work enthusiastically and collaboratively with colleagues. Actively participate in professional development activities.
