Job Summary
Under direction of the Computer Field Services Supervisor, provides technical support in the installation, operation, maintenance and repair of computer systems (hardware and software), peripherals, telecommunication equipment (intercom and phone), low voltage systems (bells and clocks), fire/video/security systems, and networks at various sites; provides informal training to the users in the proper operation and maintenance of computers and related equipment.
Requirements / Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Graduation from high school or evidence of equivalent educational proficiency Experience: Two years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of computer systems, peripherals, and related equipment in a network environment. Special: • Possession of a valid California Class C Driver License. • Evidence of adequate insurance for a motor vehicle which meets or exceeds the California legal liability insurance requirement and continual insurance coverage during employment. • Use of an automobile. • Successfully complete a pre-employment physical examination.
