Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Special Education, coordinates the research and implementation of effective instructional programs for students with disabilities in the District and assists with the operation of the District’s Special Education programs and services.

Requirements / Qualifications

Administrative Services Credential or Certificate of Eligibility ONE of the following authorizations: • Education Specialist Instruction Credential - in any area or, • Pupil Personnel Services: School Psychologist or, • Clinical Rehabilitative Services-Language Speech Hearing Master’s degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Special Education or related field (preferred) Five (5) years of successful experience as a Special Education Teacher, Psychologist or Speech and Language Pathologist Three (3) years successful experience as an Administrative level site support specialist in the operation of programs for students with disabilities.
