Job Summary
MJUSD is looking for a qualified candidate to join the music teaching team. There are currently five elementary and seven secondary music teachers throughout the district. Middle school duties are currently 6th-8th grade at a single site. Previous director duties for McKenny have included: band, choir, strings, music appreciation, community parades, honor bands, and active collaboration with your music colleagues. You will be part of a Professional Learning Community who meets on a regular basis with other district music teachers as well as your site staff. Collaboration discussions include strategies and best teaching practices for students using a variety of methodologies and resources.
