Job Summary
Job Summary
Year round, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, 260 days per year. Schedule during school is 2 to 10:30 PM including a 1/2 hour unpaid meal break. In the summer, hours may change to AM shift. Start date is this school year (20-21) and as soon as possible after applicant acceptance. Performs cleaning and custodial functions at assigned site (s) and perform occasional routine grounds keeping and maintenance duties in the upkeep of District buildings and facilities. These activities are required to maintain an environment that is safe and appropriate for the maximum learning of all students in the Rescue Union School District. Earn vacation, sick leave and paid holidays off. Eligible for optional medical insurance. District provided dental and vision insurance for employee and dependents. Retirement benefits provided through CalPERS.

Interviews may occur as soon as possible and prior to the deadline. Before starting, requirements include a FBI/DOJ clearance, TB assessment clearance and a flexibility and strength test. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a willingness to be tested weekly is required. Tests are provided by the school district.
