Job Summary
Under the immediate supervision of the Superintendent, the Chief Business Official performs professional administrative work in the management of the District’s Business Office. Work involves the administrative responsibility to plan and develop the District budget, to establish and maintain adequate internal accounting procedures, records, safeguards and controls, and to insure the most effective use of District revenues for the support and improvement of the education programs.
Requirements / Qualifications
Desirable Qualifications: CBO Certification Principles and practices of governmental accounting, auditing and budgeting Principles of supervision and training California K-12 school business accounting and reporting systems using the Standardized Account Code Structures (SACS) and the CA School Accounting Manual QSS/QCC computerized accounting system
