Requirements / Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED; and 1-2 years related experience and/or training preferably in school environment. Minimum one (1) year of experience at or equivalent to the level of Custodian I. Experience with methods, practices, equipment, and materials used in various building and construction trades including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical, concrete, and mechanical repair a plus. Work boots are required for this position.
A proficiency test will be administered to qualified applicants. Must upload the required documents - upload the attachment named exactly as stated (i.e., Letter of Recommendation) in order to be considered for this position.

The candidate who assumes the position of Custodian is accepting a very important role in the functioning of our school. Their mission is to maintain the schools physical facilities in a condition of cleanliness and safety. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable with using custodial equipment and supplies efficiently, properly and safely; and be able to perform minor maintenance and repairs; the Custodian will not only be working with maintenance, cleaning, and care, but the qualified candidate will be working with people, especially children.
