Job Summary

Temporary County Certificate will be issued for one year by the Riverside County Office of Education to work as an Emergency Substitute Teacher. This certificate is not renewable after the year expiration date.

Requirements / Qualifications

DSUSD will submit the Temporary County Certificate (TCC) to Riverside County Office of Education. Individuals issued a TCC on or before March 31, 2022, under this flexibility may serve as an emergency substitute teacher on the TCC for its entire validity.

1. A Bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education. Must provide Official Transcripts in a sealed envelope. 2. Basic Skills Requirement through one of the options outlined in Commission Leaflet CL-667. 3. Valid Certificate of Clearance (COC), Activity Supervisor Clearance Certificate (ASCC), or other Commission-issued document providing current, valid fingerprint clearance with the Commission

  • Copy of Transcript (If first time applying for credential, Official transcript in a sealed envelope reflecting a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required. DO NOT OPEN sealed envelope. Insert a placeholder stating "I will bring in official transcripts")
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 Letters of Recommendation)
  • Resume
