Job Summary

Job Summary

A Mental Health Counselor provides Educationally Related Mental Health Service (ERMHS) counseling students who have mental health needs in the Alternative Education Classrooms or whom have been identified through Special Education related mental health needs.

Requirements / Qualifications

CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE: • A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work, School Counseling, or MFT. • Pupil Personnel Services Credential in Psychology, Social Work, School Counseling or MFT Required • License in Psychology, Clinical Social Work, Professional Clinical Counseling or MFT highly desired • Valid California driver’s license • Biliterate and bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable
