The Encinitas Union School District is seeking a Child Nutrition Specialist who is collaborative, dynamic, and who has experience working in a school district. A minimum of two years of experience performing varied clerical and accounting types of work is required. Experience working with the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and school nutrition is highly preferred. This opening is with Child Nutrition Services Department at the Central Kitchen which is located at El Camino Creek Elementary School. Standard Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:40pm - 40 hours per week. Salary placement dependent upon experience. Benefits Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, PERS Retirement Interview process will consist of paper screening, district administered test, pre-employment reference checks, and panel interview. Applicants screened through for testing will be invited to take a competency exam. The exam for the this position will be at the Encinitas Union School District Office. Panel interviews will be scheduled for qualifying applicants. Successful candidates will be required to pass fingerprint background check, physical and drug screen and provide negative Tuberculin Skin Test result prior to working in Encinitas Union School District.
