You are a dynamic, optimistic, and experienced Human Resources specialist. You want to develop professionally, be part of a team, and create the structures that support EBIA’s employees as they make a difference for Oakland’s youth. East Bay Innovation Academy (EBIA) is proud to be a free public charter school bringing project-based curriculum, social emotional emphasis, design thinking, and blended learning to students in Oakland, California. You will ? Establish and maintain efficient and effective systems and procedures. ? Coordinate HR administration including background checks, onboarding, offboarding, personnel files, coordination of benefits and administration of leaves. ? Facilitate hiring, including collaboration with Hiring Manager for JD creation, job posting, initial screening of candidates, and creation of employment agreements. ? Understand, monitor, and facilitate CTC credentialing paperwork and processes. This includes facilitation of Induction and submitting short-term applications and waivers with CTC and reporting credential status to CalSAAS and other entities. ? Create relationships with student teacher and intern programs ? Support the Executive Director and Principals in implementation of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and the Employee Handbook. ? Manage volunteer policies and requirements ? Track and interpret COVID policies that affect employees ? Support the establishment and maintenance of efficient and effective systems and procedures for the human resources of the school. ? Support special projects as needed.
