Requirements / Qualifications

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain knowledge and abilities would be: Education: High School diploma or equivalent plus completion of a formal apprenticeship (4 years) or a college certificate in the specialized electrical trade is required. A minimum of four more years of experience at the journey level is required. Licenses and Certificates: Requires a valid Driver’s License. Requires an electrician license or equivalent professional designation. To be considered for hire, candidates must meet the minimum requirements including a successful interview and successful reference checks. Please note that we require three references, one of them must be a supervisor (current or past)Upon hiring, TB and Fingerprint Clearance (at the applicant’s expense) will be required prior to employment. Employee Entrance Evaluation (at District’s expense) will also be required.
