Requirements / Qualifications

A Licensed Vocational Nurse/Paraeducator is needed for the medically fragile program. Assists teachers and district nurses in providing specialized healthcare and instructional support to assigned students. Is required to perform a variety of academic and instructional support as determined by the student’s education plan. Must pass the Paraeducator/Instructional Aide exam or have completed two years of study at an institute of higher education or have an Associate of Arts (AA) degree or higher. Valid California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) License or a Registered Nurse (RN) License required. Valid First Aid Card and CPR Certificate required, and California Drivers License Preferred.

To be considered for hire, candidates must meet the minimum requirements including a successful interview and successful reference checks. Please note that we require three references, one of them must be a supervisor (current or past). Upon hiring, TB and Fingerprint Clearance (at the applicant’s expense) will be required.
