Job Summary

The Special Education Program Specialist is responsible for assisting and enhancing the work of Teachers, Special Education Aides, School Psychologists, and School Leaders, Parents, and Classified Personnel in the area of special education practices and promoting the conceptual, intuitive, and personal skills necessary for their professional development. The goal of this position is to provide direct support for schools in the maintenance of a compliant and collaborative special education program with the support and supervision of the special education program administrator. This is a year-round position, requiring work both during and after school hours.
