Did you know that for the 2021-22 school year, those holding a Sub Permit can now be in a classroom for up to 60 school days vs the traditional 30 days? Springs Charter Schools has created a new position, the revolving substitute and we have an opening at our Cherry Valley site. This revolving substitute will be assigned on a full time basis to the school site where the role will be to fill in for a teacher on a daily, weekly, long term basis or assisting where/as needed. The revolving substitute will be guaranteed work, whether instructing or assisting in the classroom or in any other capacity where there is a need, and the great news is that this position qualifies for full time health and wellness benefits and CalSTRS retirement. Our schools offer parents a choice between traditional homeschool environment for their children or a 2-5 day "blended" model which integrates traditional classroom instruction with home study.
