Job Summary
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, supports and extends student learning; performs a variety of academic, enrichment and recreational activities for students; engages students in active and meaningful experiences; and performs routine clerical work. Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS: Resume Letter of Intent Two Current Letters of Recommendation (not necessary for current FCUSD employees) QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed below: - Must pass the District’s Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test prior to being hired. - Must meet CPR/First Aid certification requirements. - Recommended possession of a valid California Child Development Teacher Permit or other credential authorizing service in a Student Care Center which includes 12 units in Early Childhood Education/Child Development. - Recommended experience: A minimum of three years’ experience in school-based programs or in community-based tutoring and/or recreation activities. In addition to the hourly wage, you also earn a 5% Shift Differential because your workday starts after 2 PM. If you have a position with the district that starts before 2 PM, you do not earn the differential.
Upon Conditional Offer of Employment Department of Justice Criminal Background Check, completed at the district office for a fee of $30.00. TB Test (Valid for 4 Years) Pre-Employment Physical Evaluation conducted through the District. Lift test included (MIN 50 lbs). Complete district training as a Mandated Reporter, Covid 19 Training, and Sexual Harassment Training ***Pursuant to the State Public Health Officer Order of August 11, 2021 affecting all TK-12 public and private school employees, all Folsom Cordova Unified School District employees and substitutes are required to either provide evidence of COVID~19 vaccination or participate in weekly COVID~19 testing***
