Job Summary
Under supervision and direction of the Director of Maintenance and Operations, the Mechanic II will perform skilled work of one the major trades at a Journeyman level. Have a working knowledge and the ability to perform work in a minimum of three major maintenance trades in the maintenance and repair of buildings, building systems, building fixtures, and equipment; capital improvement projects, and perform related work as required.. Requirements / Qualifications
Please Attach: Resume Letter of Intent Experience and Education: o Minimum four years’ experience performing building maintenance work with increasing skills and knowledge equivalent to Journeyman level . Emphasis will be directed to candidates with work experience specific to sewer and storm drain cleaning, repair, the maintenance of sewer and storm drain systems, the ability to operate hydro-jetting equipment, and drain system camera and locating equipment. o Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade. o Possession of a valid California driver’s license.
Upon Conditional Offer of Employment - Department of Justice Criminal Background Check completed at the district office for a fee of $30. - TB Test (Valid for 4 Years) - Complete district training on Mandated Reporter, Covid 19, and Sexual Harassment - Pre-Employment Physical Evaluation conducted through the District. Lift test included (MIN 50 lbs). ***Pursuant to the State Public Health Officer Order of August 11, 2021 affecting all TK-12 public and private school employees, all Folsom Cordova Unified School District employees and substitutes are required to either provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccination or participate in weekly COVID-19 testing.***
